To support our team, we are looking for a permanent full-time/part-time hours) Accounting Specialist (m/f/d) in Sherman, IL.

Your responsibilities:

  • Independent processing of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed asset accounting
  • Booking of accruals and provisions
  • Execution of all payment transactions and processing and posting of incoming payments
  • Handling of dunning processes
  • Monitoring and reconciliation of accounts
  • Processing and submission of VAT preregistration and ZM reports
  • Execution of yearend closing entries
  • Contact person for tax advisors

Your profile:

  • Comprehensive knowledge and several years of relevant work experience in accounting (financial accounting) or as an accountant
  • Good knowledge of MS Office
  • Good knowledge of fixed asset accounting
  • Familiarity with DATEV is desirable
  • Strong affinity for numbers, precise work style, analytical skills, and communication skills
