Overview

Axient is seeking an
Information Technology (IT) Project Manager - Journeyman to support our customer in
Eglin AFB, FL. In this role you will be working in both SAP and non-SAP environments, and stakeholders such as outside vendors, the customer, other agencies.

Responsibilities

Must be a fully competent professionals in all aspects of the subject matter area
Able to devise new approaches to problems encountered and perform all functional duties independently.
Experienced with the Microsoft Windows desktop operating systems, Windows applications, as well as network peripherals such as printers and scanners.
Assist with system administration of network, Web, and/or communication systems, including LAN and Wide Area Network (WAN) systems, involving network security;
Assist with managing hardware and software, perform configuration management and troubleshooting on IT related equipment;
Assist end-users with the operation and restoration of information systems;
Perform daily activities of configuration and operation of business systems which may be mainframe, mini, client/server, or cloud based and optimizes system operation and resource utilization, and performs system capacity analysis, planning, and lifecycle management.
Provide assistance to users in accessing and using business systems, and;
Prepare technical implementation plans that provide integrated solutions including actions, milestones, timelines and critical paths required for complete solutions.
Knowledge of a wide range of telecommunications theories, concepts, principles, practices, procedures, DoD policies, standards, and operational requirements.

Qualifications

Completed Bachelor's degree, seven (7) years of professional experience and IAT Level II certification (ex. Sec, CySA); or
Or, Completed Bachelor's degree, five (5) years of professional experience and IAT Level III certification (ex. CASP, CISSP); or
Or, Completed Master's degree, five (5) years of professional experience and IAT Level II certification (ex. Sec, CySA); or
Or, Completed Master's degree, three (3) years of professional experience and IAT Level III certification (ex. CASP, CISSP)
Windows Server Operating System certification desired
Must have an active Secret Clearance.
