The
IT Helpdesk Systems Engineer
will be responsible for analyzing, diagnosing, and resolving user complaints and problems with software and hardware
Responsibilities:
Plan, install, and configure workstations, printers and peripheralsDocument user instructions, software versions, and operational proceduresRespond to user and guest requests for assistancePrioritize and manage helpdesk tickets; problem-solving customer support experience.
High degree of customer service urgency and responsivenessKnowledge of networking technologies, electronic hardware and software and mission-critical systems; computer system installation, troubleshooting, problem determination, and restoration techniquesKeep abreast of current trends and technologies in the industry.
Provide on-call supportMust be able to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking hands-on environment.Ability to establish and maintain a positive and professional working relationship will all individualsQualifications:

Microsoft operating systems, desktop automation products, Hotel PMS systems, POS systems, and ancillary software products.
Knowledge of Agilysys V1, Opera and Aloha POS, a plusPrevious hotel experience, luxury or Forbes experience preferredAbility to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays is required.
Available to work in a 24 hour, 7-day a week environmentPhysical demands:Work is primarily performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment with occasional hot and cold temperature changes. Some work is performed outdoors at timesOccasionally lifting and carrying up to a maximum of 50 lb., alone for distances up to 500 feetWork with others, sometimes in close space
