We are currently seeking a Specialist in Automation and Sensor Measurement Technology (x|w|m) for our Operations department at our Göttingen location in North City, IL.

In this role, you will actively shape the future of our global and local facilities and take on exciting tasks related to process optimization.

Your responsibilities

You will be responsible for verifying the physical alignment and metrological analysis of mechatronic devices in the assembly process
Optimizing automated measurement and alignment processes will be a key focus of your role
You will also be involved in implementing flexible handling technology with automation in the assembly process
Statistical process control and correction will be part of your responsibilities
You will act as a liaison between production and development
You will drive and support our international locations from our Göttingen headquarters

Your qualifications

You have a degree in engineering, electromechanics, electrical engineering, experimental physics, or a related field
Ideally, you have previous work experience in a relevant field
You have a strong knowledge of measurement technology, physics, and numerical mathematics
You are proficient in programming and have a good understanding of Linux and Windows operating systems
You have good written and verbal English skills
