    Overview:

    The Compliance Audit Analyst reports to Emory Healthcare (EHC) Compliance and Privacy Office Leadership.


    Responsible for monitoring and reviewing various compliance systems, reports, and databases to identify and analyze key compliance risks, including Epic, eDisclose, MDaudit, and Open Payments Data.

    Assists with the development of audit structures, ongoing monitoring, reviews, and performs additional departmental duties as assigned.


    Minimum Qualification:
    Bachelor's degree preferred.

    In lieu of a degree, 5 or more years of relevant experience may suffice.

    Certification in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) or a related compliance certification is preferred.


    Description:
    The Compliance Audit Analyst reports to Emory Healthcare (EHC) Compliance and Privacy Office Leadership.

    The EHC Compliance Audit Analyst is responsible for assisting the Compliance Leadership team with audits and reviews.

    This position is also responsible for providing analytical and program support.


    Duties & Responsibilities:


    Responsible for monitoring and reviewing various compliance systems, reports and databases including but not limited to Epic, eDisclose, MDaudit, and Open Payments Data to identify and analyze key compliance risks.

    Assists with the development of audit structures as well as ongoing monitoring and reviews.

    Performs additional departmental duties, as assigned.

    The ideal candidate for this position will possess: Knowledge of healthcare clinical activities, coding, billing, patient privacy, and reimbursement. Strong familiarity with applicable laws and regulations for hospitals and physician practices. Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of compliance in the healthcare industry.

    Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities requirements:
    Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong organizational, program planning, and time-management skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

    Education & Experience requirements:
