Greater Austin Moving & Storage are looking for a Mover/Driver to join our team and help load and unload furniture and other items between various locations. The position include the following


Responsibility:


  • Loading, packing and unloading items with care
  • Ensuring that no items are damaged while moving
  • Wrapping furniture in protective material
  • Deliver and setup furniture inside client homes, as required or requested
  • Respond to inquiries and requests from clients in a professional manner
  • Collect furniture from residential or commercial locations
  • Protect all donated furniture from damage through established best practices
  • Collect payments and issue receipts
  • Assist clients with loading and unloading their luggage
  • Adjust the route to avoid heavy traffic or road constructions, as needed
  • Regular cleaning and maintenance services for the vehicle

Pay Structure & Benefits:

Drivers: $25-$35 an hour + Tips_
- _
Movers: $20-$30 an hour + Tips_


Requirements and skills:


  • Proven work experience as a Mover or similar role
  • Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects throughout the day
  • Punctual and professional attitude
  • Relevant training and/or certifications as a Mover
  • Valid Driver's License ( for driver position)
  • Clean Driving Record
  • Knowledge of area roads and neighborhoods
  • Availability to occasionally take weekend and night shifts
  • Proven experience as a Driver
  • Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations (e.g. at rush hour)
  • Customer Service to communicate with clients
  • Must be willing to undergo background check

  • MOVING INDUSTRY: 2 years (required)
  • Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
  • Box truck: 2 years (preferred)

License/Certification:

  • Pflugerville, TX preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

  • Pflugerville, TX 78660: Relocate before starting work (required)
