Summary:
The Low Voltage Data Technician is responsible for all building maintenance related duties. This includes light troubleshooting and major repair work as needed.

In addition, the Low Voltage Data Technician will be responsible for maintaining the electrical, plumbing and cleanup of the different departments within the building.


Compensation:

This hourly, non-exempt position pays from $19 to $24 per hour, with overtime compensated at 1.5 times the base rate.

New hires usually earn between $54,770 and $71,510 annually, or more, depending on experience, overtime hours, and bonuses.

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to complete the following essential duties and responsibilities:

Installing, servicing and integrating a variety of low voltage systems to include Intrusion Alarms, Video Surveillance, Card Access, Telephone Systems, Data Networks and more.

Ability to answer basic customer inquiries after trained by MSI.

Ability to travel domestically to other MSI locations with expenses paid by the company.

Manage updates to MSI systems.

Perform additional duties as required or requested.

1 year of Low Voltage Data Technician experience.

High School Education or equivalent required.

Comfortable traveling within the US for 10 to 15 weeks per year.

Ability to use a computer or tablet is a plus

Good communication and organizational skills

Ability to follow instructions and work under pressure

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
