The Production Planner works on the holistic development and implementation of a supply chain that will produce sustained on time delivery performance, targeted customer lead time breakthroughs and optimized financial results.
General Responsibilities
- Responsible for planning production for manufacturing lines. Reviews and maintains manufacturing routings. Generates production plans.
- Analyzes requirements and plans for capacity based on forecast as well as what if scenarios.
- Investigates and reports on potential production problems.
- Coordinates with production supervisors and purchasing, communicates with customer service to meet customer needs.
- Followup as required with all teams to expedite flow of materials and documents to meet production schedule and customer expectation.

- Utilizes ERP system to develop, track and maintain key metrics to monitor production performance. Reports KPIs to site management.
- Set finished good inventory goals, review new inventory requirements, and ensure compliance to existing inventory models.
- Support inventory planning and ensure warehouse stock efficiency
Experience / Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
- Must be a team player able to work in a fastpaced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands.
- Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation.
- Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results.
- Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity.
- Holds selfaccountable to achieving goals and standards.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
- Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers.
