We're on the lookout for a passionate and driven Marketing Assistant to be a key part of the innovative journey at Layn Natural Ingredients

Position Overview:

The Marketing Assistant will collaborate with President and Marketing Manager, providing support to Marketing and Sales Team.

Primarily focusing on organizing, coordinating, and developing visually appealing and effective marketing materials for go-to-market launches across various markets, segments, products, and channels.

Additionally, the Marketing Assistant will handle administrative tasks such as creating reports, conducting market research, and performing data analysis.

Specific Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Create eye catching marketing collateral (digital fliers, sell sheets, brochures, ads, newsletters, infographics, landing page designs, trade show display graphics), maintaining consistency with the company's branding, and develop sales support tools (eblasts, PowerPoint presentations).
  • Assist in executing marketing campaigns and activities on calendar, including advertising, tradeshows, promotions, product launches, newsletters, social media, and sales tools development.
  • Represent the company at tradeshows and conventions, supporting pre and post readiness and sales support activities.
  • Support administrative tasks such as creating reports, conducting market research, and performing data analysis.
  • Assists with additional responsibilities as assigned.

Essential Skills and Experience:


Education or Equivalent:
(Minimum required to perform job)

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Courses related to graphic design a plus.

Knowledge/Skills Requirements:


  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detailoriented and organized work approach, with the ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively.
  • Strong graphic design skills, with advanced or professional design skills considered a plus.
  • Proficiency in related software: Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign),
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and/or Google Suite.

Physical Requirements and Safety Considerations of the Position:


Physical Requirements:

Individual may be required sit for extended periods. Specific vision requirements include reading of written documents, use of computer monitor screen. Some travel may be required for trade show set up and/or design.


Work Schedule:

Shifts of 8 + hours in duration.


Essential Physical Job Tasks:


  • Completion of administrative duties as indicated by position.
  • Data entry and use of computer user interface tools including mouse, keyboard and any other applicable instruments. a. Setting up office, desk and workstation for mínimal ergonomic risk factors as deemed necessary.
  • Sustaining static postures a. Sustained sitting at desk or workstation with use of phones, computers and any other office equipment required for specified position. b. Static stance/standing as required.
  • Lifting and operating in an office environment a. File/Folder storage with non-repetitive light weightlifting, reaching and forward bending as necessary. b. Infrequent lifting overhead reaching less than or equal to 15 lbs. with the ability to potentially be able to lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull 40 lbs.

Safety Considerations:


  • Must follow any applicable facility safety requirements.

Environmental Conditions:


  • Working conditions will be Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioned controlled.

Pay:
Up to $24.00 per hour
