    Job Description

    1. Conduct comprehensive quantity takeoffs and material pricing to accurately estimate project costs for ground-up commercial construction projects.
    2. Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and bid documents to identify project requirements, scope, and potential risks.
    3. Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to solicit competitive bids and negotiate pricing agreements.
    4. Prepare detailed cost estimates, proposals, and bid packages in accordance with company standards and client requirements.
    5. Evaluate subcontractor proposals, qualifications, and performance history to ensure alignment with project goals and budgetary constraints.
    6. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, material costs, and industry standards to inform accurate cost projections and competitive bidding strategies.
    7. Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and client presentations to discuss project requirements, scope, and pricing strategies.

      The Successful Applicant

      1. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
      2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial construction estimating, with a focus on ground-up projects.
      3. Proficiency in construction estimating software, such as Bluebeam, RSMeans, or Sage Estimating.
      4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex construction documents and specifications.
      5. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
      6. Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and precision in estimating project costs.
      7. Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry best practices related to commercial construction. What's on Offer
