Job duties:
- Maintain resident security/ safety in lobby area by viewing facility cameras, and closely monitors all entrance and exits.
- Monitor all visitors, doctors, consultants, vendors, signingin and signingout entering and exiting facility.
- Serving as a telephone operator and transferring calls to appropriate disciplines within the facility.
- Manage the reception area and provide administrative and clerical support.
- Reporting all disruption in regular facility services to Administrator, Department Head and other disciplines.
- Assist in monitoring security practices for compliance with established policies and procedures annually.
Required work schedule:
- As needed/on call 3pm11pm and 11pm7am on weekends, and holidays (Open availability)_
Qualifications:
- Must be able to speak and read the English language.
- Must be able to work the schedule needed
- Security experience is not necessary, but preferred to have NYS Security Guard License in good standing, and preferred to have at least one (1) year of Security/Front Desk Receptionist experience in a skilled nursing facility.
- Must be highly organized and be able to multitask
- Must be able to deal with highpressure situations in a calm and professional manner, with alertness in making decisions in an emergency.
- Must have excellent customer service skills and be able to effectively interact with all levels of staff and the public.
