Qualifications:
- Valid Security Guard Card *(REQUIRED)
- Firearms Permit *(REQUIRED)
- Must have personal Firearm with Level 3 Holster
- Valid Baton Permit *(REQUIRED)
- Chemicals Cert.
- CPR / First Aid
- Reliable transportation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; including the ability to understand and carry out verbal and written instructions
- Regular and punctual attendance to all shifts
Preferred Skillset:
- Detail Oriented
- Technology Savvy
- Strong Report Writing Skills
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service
- Public service oriented, with effective communication skills
Duties may include but not limited to:
- Being alert at assigned post at all times to ensure personal safety
- Monitoring various activities by making rounds to ensure the safety of all patrons
- Respond and assist with emergency situations on property
- Contact Police, Fire Department, or other emergency services as needed
- Practicing all safety rules and procedures at assigned post, as established by GSG Protective Services to ensure a safe and healthy work environment
- Standing/walking for prolonged periods of time
Training:
We set our team members up for success Extensive training is provided for all officers before placement, as well as after being placed (and throughout your assignment).
