Tasks and Process

As a surface coater at Holiday Hills, you will be responsible for galvanizing everything that needs protection, enhancement, or improved electrical conductivity. Whether it's chrome plating, copper plating, silver plating, or gold plating - the chemical process is the same, namely electrolysis. But as a surface coater, you can do even more. You can also anodize and zaponize, which means you can produce coatings of aluminum oxide or colorless, highly durable varnishes. By grinding, smoothing, and polishing, you ensure that all treated surfaces look like new.

You will also perform basic metalworking skills such as degreasing, etching, stripping, and scraping, which will be taught to you during your apprenticeship. In addition, you will also carry out other exciting tasks such as coloring metals, testing chemicals, dissolving metals, and preparing baths.
