Description

Electricians* for industrial engineering are responsible for electrical components and systems in the areas of electrical power supply, industrial plants, or building systems and automation technology. They design modifications and expansions, install wiring systems and power lines, set up machines and drive systems, and assemble control devices. They also program, configure, and test systems and safety equipment. Additionally, they are responsible for monitoring the systems, performing maintenance, conducting regular inspections, and repairing any malfunctions.

Your tasks as an electrician* for industrial engineering:
  • Installation of power distribution and lighting systems
  • Maintenance and repair of: power distribution and lighting systems, small electrical appliances, control systems, and electronic equipment for production plants
  • Handling of programmable logic controllers, pneumatic systems, converters, process control and regulation technology
The training process:

Start and duration of training

  • Starting on September 1st
  • 3 1/2 years (possible to shorten by half a year with excellent performance)

Training stations

  • The practical training takes place at the Kalle-Albert industrial park
  • Additional lessons and supplementary seminars at the InfraServ Wiesbaden Education Center

Vocational school

  • Block lessons
