- Ensure all standard operating procedures are being followed and facilities are in good working condition, adhering to all safety procedures.
- Maintain high herd health and adhere to all biosecurity set forth by the company and proper feeding and care of animals.
- Training of employees on day-to-day processes and procedures to develop a competent workforce by utilizing hands-on training methods.
- Supervising and scheduling groups of employees and acting as manager when the supervisor is not present.
- Maintain accurate records and reports of animals, employees, and supplies on the farm.
- Assist and ensure that all weekly and daily reports are turned in timely and accurately.
- Follow the assigned medication and vaccination protocols for the farm.
- Associate degree (A.A) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or 6 months to 1-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must be proficient in English language, reading and writing.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to move around the facility.
- The employee must regularly lift and move up to 100 pounds, and occasionally lift and move up to 300 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Primarily a field position, working at the farm daily.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts; and in outside weather conditions and is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and vibration.

COMPENSATION
We offer a competitive pay rate based on your skills and experience related to this position. Our starting compensation for this position in Holyoke, CO is $49,100/yr.
