Job Overview:
We are a Quartz Stone Distributor in Norwell. We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team.

As a Business Development Manager specializing in outside sales, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining customer relationships, and driving sales growth.

This is a key role within our organization and offers the opportunity to make a significant impact.


Duties:


  • Outside Sales Emphasis: Focus on engaging with customers in person, conducting facetoface meetings, and visiting client locations to understand their needs firsthand.
  • New Business Development: Proactively prospect and identify new sales opportunities in the premium countertop market. Conduct market research to expand our client base.
  • Account Management: Manage and nurture existing accounts through regular site visits, ensuring ongoing customer satisfaction and identifying opportunities for upselling or crossselling.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies tailored to the outside sales environment, including route planning, territory management, and maximizing facetoface interactions.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, fabricators, architects, designers, contractors, and other key stakeholders. Network effectively to generate leads and referrals.
  • Product Expertise: Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of our premium quartz product range during inperson meetings and presentations. Showcase product features, benefits, and advantages over competitors to persuade potential clients.

Skills:

- +3 years of successful sales or business development experience

  • Knowledge of quartz stone or building materials preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in using MS Excel
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Project management experience is a plus

Working Conditions:
Extensive Local Travel: 85% Regular travel in Massachusett to meet with clients and attend appointments.

  • Flexibility: Willingness to work occasional weekends as needed to accommodate client meetings.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift objects weighing up to 70 LBS and withstand exposure to diverse weather conditions during travel.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive base salary ($48,000 $54,000) plus bonus opportunities.
  • Company gas card for outside sales positions.

Pay:
$48, $54,000.00 per year
