SUMMARY


The Junior Recruiter will identify, recruit, and screen potential interns and junior level employees for specific positions in a corporate environment.

This role requires a high level of efficiency and organization, all to be conducted in a timely, professional, and courteous manner.

The nature of this position exposes you to confidential information pertaining to the company and its employees.

All information must remain within the HR department and should not be discussed with any other member of staff or external body.


ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborates with HR team to draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
  • Manages job postings and advertisement processes.
  • Works with the human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending start dates and other pertinent details.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
  • Drafts internal and administer freelance contracts.
  • Attends and participates in college job fairs and recruiting sessions.
  • Help manage the onboarding process, ensuring new hires have a smooth transition into the company.
  • Assists in conducting engaging HR induction for new starters across the entire company.
  • Additional tasks as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS & CHARACTERISTICS

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicanttracking software or other recruitment systems.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
The salary range for this position is $60,000-$65,000/yr.
