- Coordinates outpatient procedures for Westerville Surgery Center, Dental Surgery Center, Main Campus Surgery Center, and Main Hospital Operating Room (OR) for patients with dental surgery needs.
- Maintains OR wait List(s) through communication with pre-admission testing (P.A.T.), anesthesia, parents/guardians and Perioperative scheduling to determine A.S.A. rating to schedule child for appropriate OR.
- Communicates scheduling needs to Dental staff and other ancillary departments to facilitates combo procedures with various hospital departments.
- Problem-solves scheduling conflicts and recommends solutions to the DSC supervisor, and the Dental providers.
- Participates in problem solving and communication with Patients/Families to answer questions regarding insurance claims. Maintains communication with Patient Accounts and resolve and/or problem solve to correct billing errors.
- Coordinates scheduling of Dental Sedation program including Pre-sedation confirmation of appointments and instructions, and post-sedation quality assurance follow-up phone call.
