Nestled along the Missouri River in Chamberlain and Oacoma, SD. Al's Oasis has historically been the premier resting stop for travelers along Interstate 90 (I-90). Here at Al's Oasis, we offer bus tour groups, vacationing families, tourists, and lone travelers more than just great food, lodging and shopping. We offer them an escape from their travels. Al's Oasis prides itself on making a fun, convenient, and relaxing stop for families.

    Here's what you'll get to do:

    • Oversee day-to-day operations of the restaurant.
    • Ensure the quality and consistency of food and beverages.
    • Interact with customers and ensure they have a positive experience.
    • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback.
    • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
    • Implement and maintain quality standards and procedures.
    • Recruit, train, and supervise staff members.
    • Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for staff.
    • Manage and lead a team to maintain high production, productivity, and quality standards.
    • Create a positive and exciting workplace culture.
    • Monitor inventory levels, control costs, and minimize waste.
    • Collaborate with vendors and suppliers.
    • Manage budget for restaurant.
    • Handle payroll and finance reporting.
    • Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.
    • Coordinate promotions, events, and special offers.
    • Oversee maintenance and cleanliness of the restaurant.

    Here's what you need to be successful:

    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • Prior experience in a managerial role in the restaurant industry.
    • Flexibility in hours to service the needs of the company.
    • Must be able to relocate if needed to the Oacoma/Chamberlain area with potential eligibility for assistance with moving expenses.

    • Competitive compensation of $45,000 +plus, based on experience.
