- _ Maintaining the tone and pace for the team throughout dinner service all the way to the close of the restaurant_
- _ Modeling warm/energetic/timely greetings as guests approach the bar_
- _ Modeling great hospitality and empathy_
- _ Cultivating and communicating regulars_
- _ Lead new bartender training efforts as well as beverage training for new servers, ongoing training for staff by contributing to and utilizing the Opus training platform_
- _ Full knowledge of the food menus_
- _ Through the direction of the General Manager, hold the bartending team accountable for:_
- _ Service & Hospitality expectations_
- _ Engagement with the Wine by the Bottle list/red book_
- _ Opening and Closing checklists_
- _ Daily and Weekly cleaning projects_
- _ Organization of the bar and refrigeration/storage_
- _ Oversee the nightly Bar Log and delegate prep projects_
- _ Daily communication around bar ordering needs by utilizing the Bar Order Guide_
- _ All in All Day, always running food, assisting the floor_
- _ Assisting with inventory at the end of each month_
- _ Participate in seasonal beverage changes including ordering, implementation, training_
- _ Supporting expo/packing as necessary, always running food_
- _ Contribute to the growth and evolution of Shy Bird with ideas and feedback_
