- Mentor and lead junior team members, encouraging professional development and sharing industry knowledge.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, overseeing day-to-day activities, providing strategic counsel, and leading regular PR interactions.
- Execute and manage PR initiatives, including plans, press trips, events, and media appointments.
- Write persuasive copy for pitches, releases, case studies, and reports.
- Spearheaded PR campaigns, ensuring annual objectives are met, and developing client-specific media strategies.
- Cultivate relationships with media, freelancers, and influencers; identify industry trends for strategic pitches.
- Participate in new business proposals, brainstorming sessions, and staff meetings.
- 5+ years of PR agency experience with travel, tourism, and/or hospitality clients.
- Fluent proficiency in both spoken and written English and Spanish, demonstrating bilingual capabilities.
- Bachelor's degree in public relations, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
- Experience with traditional and new media; familiarity with influencers and digital campaigns is a plus.
- Proven experience in pitching stories to top-tier consumer and trade media outlets.
- Comfortable leading client calls and serving as the primary day-to-day client contact.
- Creative thinker with experience in creative partnerships and programming.
- Strong project management and client relationship skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills; be very outstanding in leading clients, partners, and employees, let your natural extroverted and leadership personality flow.
- Knowledge of the travel industry from B2B and B2C standpoints is highly desired.
- Experience in delegating and managing junior team members.
- Familiarity with industry tools/platforms.
