The Association of German Railway Technical Schools (VDEF) is an educational institution with 14 training centers throughout Germany. Since 1920, VDEF has been providing customized training and further education for its clients.

We are currently seeking a Trainer/Instructor for Technical Specialists in the field of Track Construction (m/f/d) for our training centers in Munich and Nuremberg.

Responsibilities:

Conducting seminars for the training and further education of technical specialists in the field of track construction and other railway personnel
Conducting practical training sessions
Creating and developing seminar materials

Qualifications:

Certified Track Construction Master (IHK) or Track Mechanic or Industrial Master in Track Construction or Construction Foreman according to the civil service career or equivalent qualification or Civil Engineer with functional training as a Railway Track Construction Supervisor or Statecertified Technician in Construction Technology
Indepth knowledge of relevant regulations in the field of track construction of DB Netz AG, good moderation and presentation skills, pedagogical skills and a confident demeanor
Appointment as a Trainer for MKS/DAS measurement reports or willingness to obtain this qualification
Ideally, knowledge in the field of track monitoring
Indepth technical knowledge in the field of track construction, at least 2 years of professional experience
Practical experience in designing and conducting seminars
Willingness to work at other locations
Unrestricted operational fitness
High social and methodological competence
