    Description

    Responsible for maintaining financial procedures and confirming financial compliance through the preparation of a company's reports and statements.

    Job Description

    • Managing the company's financial accounts, payroll, budget, cash receipts and financial assets.
    • Reconcile bank statements.
    • Organize and update financial records.
    • Oversee Payroll and Vendor Payments
    • Support monthly, quarterly, half-year, and year-end financial closes, including assigned journal entries, balance-sheet account reconciliations, accruals, and overall maintenance of operational management accounts.
    • Conduct month-end and year-end closures.
    • Prepare and file Sales Tax returns.
    • Prepare cash flow, financial forecasting and risk analysis
    • Prepare documentation for external auditors.
    • Maintain confidentiality of company and client information

    Requirements and skills:

    • Minimum 5 years' experience as a Staff Accountant
    • Excellent use of Microsoft Office Word and Excel
    • Strong organizational and communication skills
    • Professional experience in financial forecasting and risk analysis
    • Confidentiality and integrity
    • Degree in Accounting. CPA Preferred.

    Location: Parsippany, NJ

    Work Timings: 8.30 AM to 5.30 PM

    Salary: Depends on Experience
