    Location - Strongsville, OH
    Reports to - Site Director
    The

    Manufacturing Engineering Manager

    is responsible for management of designated team members to achieve business and manufacturing engineering goals and objectives. Manage and report the status of engineering projects within the group. Possess and demonstrate a high level of technical expertise in an engineering discipline. Possess an in-depth understanding of Spartronics business goals and provide the engineering leadership required to support goal attainment.     What a Day Looks Like:


    Manage manufacturing engineering team and others as designated to achieve corporate and business unit goals and objectives of the Spartronics Business plans.

    Manage an engineering project(s) to support and achieve the continuing growth and success of the Spartronics Business unit.

    Responsible for ensuring assigned project(s) are completed on schedule and that technical requirements and financial goals are met, with emphasis on performance excellence.

    Provide direction, leadership and/or mentoring to the engineers and associates assigned to the team and project(s).
    Interface directly with customers through presentations, meetings, or other communication media to represent Spartronics as circumstances dictate.
    Establish measurements and metrics and reports progress towards meeting project goals.
    Present project status in program reviews and reports as required by management.
    Assign specific job tasks to engineers and teams for completion and monitor team members and project progress.

    Determine requirements for materials, and or equipment for engineering projects and ensure all required tooling, equipment and materials are available for the engineering group.

    Use Spartronics policies and procedures to complete work assignments and ensures group employees adhere to the Spartronics policies and procedures, and relevant regulatory requirements (ISO 13485)
    Requirements:

    BS Engineering (or experience in lieu of), MS preferred.
    8+ years' experience in relevant work.
    Proficient in software applications specific to job requirements.
    Knowledge of PCB assembly/manufacturing is a plus.
    Due to ITAR Restrictions all candidates must be a US Citizen, Permanent Resident, Political Asylee, or Refugee. We are unable to sponsor visas.

    It is understood that certain minimum requirements are not tested for but monitored for competent capability during the employee's indoctrination period.
