    JOB SUMMARY:
    Primary responsibility for leading and directing the Divisions land acquisition and entitlement process

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

    • Find land opportunities in respective division/area.
    • Oversee land mapping.
    • Negotiate and contract land acquisitions.
    • Interface in the due diligence and entitlement process, as necessary.
    • Coordinates contractors involved in the development of the land parcel, as necessary.
    • Coordinate public and municipal entitlement land process, as necessary.

    MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Ensures appropriate staffing to meet department needs
    • Utilizes recruiting and selection tools/processes to build organizational talent
    • Delegates work according to employees abilities and skills
    • Evaluates employees performance and plans for compensation actions in accordance with that performance
    • Provides developmental opportunities through identification of internal and external training opportunities
    • Creates opportunities for employee growth
    • Provides continuous coaching with regard to functional and leadership standards (technical skills and behaviors)

    REQUIRED EDUCATION:
    Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Business or equivalentValid Drivers License because driving is an essential function of this position

    REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:


    Minimum 7 to 10 years previous related experienceStrong negotiation and contract skillsRequires knowledge of market trends, pricing and growth & supplyKnowledge of political environment and the ability to form political connectionsAbility to strategically implement the companys goals by acquiring the necessary land to meet the strategic objectivesUnderstanding of finance and law is essentialPulteGroup, Inc.
