The Customer Service Representative has general customer service responsibilities for VMC customers.


Essential Job Responsibilities not limited to:

Customer Service

  • Respond to customer requests for information regarding products, pricing and services.
Order Entry

  • Order entry of all new orders, revisions, cancellations etc.
Expediting requests

  • Interact with production and shipping to expedite orders and facilitate timely shipments.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
Competencies

  • Effective interpersonal skills with a proactive approach to customer service
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and attention to detail

Requirements:


Minimum Qualifications:


  • High School diploma or equivalent and or AA Degree a plus
  • 1year administrative work experience in a manufacturing environment
