Production Hours Monday - Friday 7am-3:30pm

Responsibilities include; ensuring welders have the correct material to fabricate product; removal of completed product from welding area. In addition, the Material Handler is responsible for keeping the aisle ways clean, neat and orderly.

Responsibilities:

A safety check is performed by employee at the start of the shift each day
Must communicate daily with supervisor on what employees are scheduled to weld for the day/week
Set up multiple welders daily for what they will be doing and anticipate completion times for what they will be doing next to allow for mínimal down time
Log in and take care of incoming material daily
Log all completed orders to turn into supervisor
Remove finished product from work cells and take to the appropriate area of next process
Count inventory accurately daily
Must work closely with the inventory room, welders, supervisor and lead daily
Preform a final inspection of product before taking to paint
Maintain cleanliness of aisle and walkways
Must be willing to learn how to weld

Job Requirements:

Basic computer and math skills
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
Must be able to bend, twist, squat repetitively throughout work day
Must be able to speak, write, read and understand English
See and hear within reasonably acceptable limits, this includes the ability to see at a distance and peripherally
Use time management skills and prioritization to accomplish the day's tasks in the hours provided
Must be selfmotivated as much of the day is unsupervised
This is a 40 hour per week position and may require mandatory overtime hours
Must be 18 years of age or older
