Position Summary:


The Strategic Sourcing Analyst will gather and analyze data to support strategic sourcing initiatives, supplier negotiations, KPIs and operational spend.

Position will also develop and manage procurement reporting.


Workplace Requirements

Hiring Range:

$56,000 - $75,000, contingent upon qualifications and experience


Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.

_In lieu of the education requirement, additional related experience, above and beyond what is required, on an equivalent year for year basis may be substituted. _

Two or more (2+) years of related strategic sourcing, category management, or data analytics experience.

Preferences:


  • Four or more (4+) years of related strategic sourcing, category management, or data analytics experience.
  • Intermediate proficiency with Tableau, PowerBI or other data visualization tools
  • Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat and Oracle Fusion Cloud.
  • Familiarity with higher education procurement practices and requirements.
  • Familiarity with indirect procurement categories.

Essential Functions:


  • Data Management and Analysis:
  • Collect, manage and analyze large sets of data
  • Identify trends and valuegenerating opportunities
  • Provide actionable insights to optimize sourcing strategies and procurement performance
  • Manage spend analytics tool
  • Data Visualization and Reporting:
  • Create dashboards, KPI & spend reporting, as well as ad hoc analytical tools to facilitate optimized decision making
  • Strategic Sourcing:
  • Gather market intelligence
  • Lead RFI's and supplier prequalification events
  • Benchmark pricing
  • Evaluate commercial proposals
  • Develop cost modeling to support negotiations
  • Maintain and administer punchouts for preferred suppliers
  • Digital Optimization
  • Leverage tools and best practices to transform digital capabilities
  • Ensures commitments are met
  • Performs all other duties as assigned
