This position offers a competitive starting pay of $19-$21 per hour, depending on experience.


Job Title:
Yard Attendant/Forklift Operator
Shift: Day Shift, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, with occasional Saturdays and overtime

Responsibilities:
As a Yard Attendant/Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in our steel yard operations


Your responsibilities will include:

• Safely and efficiently unloading and loading trucks with structural steel using a forklift.
• Organizing and loading steel racks to maximize space and ensure the safe storage of materials.
• Utilizing a tablet to accurately enter incoming material into our inventory system.
• Keeping the steel yard clean, wellorganized, and free from potential hazards.

Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

• Prior experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or steel yard setting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with handling and working with structural steel materials is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work occasional Saturdays and overtime as needed.
