- Prepare and submit project/program charters to functional director/executive sponsor.
- Prepare a project/program plan addressing scope, cost, schedule, quality, and human resources.
- Execute, monitor, and control projects/programs. Set a project/program baseline.
- Ensure all deliverables have been made in accordance with customer requirements and quality standards.
- Prepare and submit project/program closure documentation for review.
- Other duties assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in project/Program Management, Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Four years of IT project management experience.
- Three years of supervisory experience.
- Experience with Ellucian Colleague and related Ellucian products.
- Strong IT management, project management, and planning skills.
- Experience working with delivery of online instruction and training.
- Excellent computer skills including working knowledge of electronic mail, word processing, and web navigation.
- Ability to navigate on-line web-based information resources including university knowledge base, on-line calendars, and web pages.
- Knowledge of all primary desktop software supported by the University; ability to consult with users at all levels of knowledge; ability to interact with a diverse group of users and managers.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written; positive customer service attitude.
- Light sedentary office work.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
