SALARY RANGE:

$46,000- $52000

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Wakefield Public Schools Technology Department is looking for an hourly Information
Technology Support Specialist in support of our help desk. The Information Technology
Support Specialist will provide first-tier IT phone support and troubleshooting for the 8
locations of the Wakefield Public Schools (PreK-POST) to include:

Support for the use of technology in and out of the classroom for teaching and learning

Windows and Google account and group management

Chromebook hardware and software support for student and staff devices
Google Apps for Education support
Support for other online services
Printing & copying support
Classroom AV system support
Acts as an escalation point for the buildingbased IT support personnel
WPS uses a selfservice ticketing system to track our service requests.
Some afterhours work may be required to support special events or to complete projects.

Must be able to lift/carry up to 30 lbs and be flexible with duties and schedule to get the work done that needs to be done as a member of a small team. Should be comfortable on a ladder.
