    Description

    Position Overview

    As a Store Manager at Brookshire Grocery Company, you'll be responsible for overseeing store operations, ensuring product quality, safety, and inventory levels are up to standard. Your role involves executing merchandising plans, enforcing company standards, and indirectly driving store sales and profits while prioritizing customer service.

    Main Responsibilities

    • Lead and manage the team through hiring, training, and development
    • Analyze historical data to forecast future sales and manage inventory
    • Maintain and enhance store performance in various areas such as sales, quality control, and safety
    • Ensure a smooth store operation, including cleanliness, safety, and cash management
    • Implement strategies for loss prevention and merchandising to drive sales

    Skills and Qualifications

    • Knowledge of retail operations and workforce management
    • Understanding of cash handling and compliance with company policies
    • Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations
    • Basic mathematical and technological skills
    • Effective communication and leadership abilities
    • Capability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks

    Educational Requirements

    • Minimum age of 18
    • Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
    • Certifications in food safety, HIPAA, and AML
    • Training in relevant areas as required

    Physical Requirements

    • Visual, auditory, and physical dexterity capabilities
    • Ability to stand, walk, and lift objects
    • Regular use of hands and fine motor skills
    • Attendance and ability to work in varying conditions

    Work Environment

    • Work primarily takes place in a retail store setting
    • Exposure to various environmental conditions
    • Adherence to safety and cleanliness standards
