Responsibilities:

Continuously monitors Injection Machines' production and packs product.

  • Ensures Injection Machine production is continuously and properly maintained and escalates any machine/production related issues to the Shift Leader and Technical Team.
  • Ensures boxes are properly filled and visually inspects for obvious defects
- color, flash, shorts.

  • Tapes and labels full boxes.
  • Uses label maker/barcode scanners.
  • Applies and maintains integrity of labels.
  • Stacks full boxes on pallet.
  • Use lift assistant to place boxes on the skid.
Continuously monitors Secondary equipment (conveyors, closing machines, grinders, bowls, carrousels, box shifters).

  • Ensures secondary equipment is continuously and properly maintained and escalates any machine/production related issues to the Shift Leader and Technical Team.
  • Removes any jammed parts from closing machines.
Completes required documentation.

  • Follows 5S Daily Cleaning Checklist and escalates safety issues.
  • Tracks productivity and quality findings.


Supports and maintains all policies of the company including but not limited to ISO/BRC Standards, Health and Safety Requirements, Continuous Improvement, and standard work procedures.


Qualifications:

  • Manufacturing environment.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; talk or hear; and use hands to handle, or touch objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
