Part Time Tasting Room Associate

The Tasting Room Food Runner assists in setting the tone for the winery experience and ensure that every guest feels a positive and genuine connection with the winery.

This position will support the daily operation of the Tasting Room and the hospitality team by delivering an exceptional customer service experience in our tasting room to help drive revenue and create brand ambassadors for Southwest Mountain Vineyards.

Responsibilities
Acquire and maintain a thorough knowledge of our operation and wines.

Read tickets and take food to associated table.

Continuous training on customer service, Virginia wine, SMV wines, and overall tourist attractions in the area.

Assist in events and various onsite activities.

Perform other duties as assigned by management.


Qualification & Experience Requirements:

Wine, restaurant, dining and/or hospitality industry experience preferred.

Must be able to carry trays up and down steps many times in a day.

Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.

Thrive in a fast-paced environment.


Compensation:

Commensurate with Mid-Atlantic industry standards, and work experience. This will include a base pay plus tips.
