Description

  • Attend all required training
  • Report serious incidents and suspected abuse, neglect, and exploitation to DFPS
  • Maintain child confidentiality
  • Chaperoning all youth
  • Cooking
  • Implementing treatment plans
  • Active monitoring
  • Providing accurate documentation
  • Reports directly to the Resident Director
  • Responsible for meeting the child's needs;
  • Helping with homework
  • Assisting with morning preparation
  • Following the daily routine
  • Reminders of expectations
  • Adherence to bedtime, quiet time, etc.
  • Ensuring that chores are complete
  • Other assigned duties

Requirements:

The Resident Assistant (RA) must be 21 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent; must be able to pass a drug test; must submit a negative results of a TB shot; have a valid driver's license; knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Preferred to have a certifications in CPR and First Aid with 6 months of experience working with children with behavioral problems is required.

The RA maintains accurate documentation and reports to the Resident Director & Licensed Child Care Administrator.
