IRONWOOD STATE PRISON IS LOCATED IN BLYTHE, CA, WHICH IS ON THE BORDER OF ARIZONA AND CALIFORNIA.


Limited Term 12 months; may be extended up to 24 months or become permanent.

REQUIREMENTS (Minimum Qualifications):


Either I:

  • One year of experience in California state service performing the duties of an Assistant Clerk.

Or II:

Education:

Either equivalent to completion of the twelfth grade; or completion of a business school curriculum; or completion of a clerical work experience training program such as those offered through the Welfare Reform Act.

(One year of clerical work experience may be substituted for the required education.)

Individuals who are eligible for a Training and Development assignment may also be considered for this position(s).

    Typing Certificate: A Typing Certificate is
    REQUIRED prior to being hired. State departments will
