• Core Hours: M-F: 8:305 (hours extended during busy season)

• Gather/organize client data and accurately enter into electronic filing software, specifically UltraTax
• Prepare or assist in preparing simple to complex federal and state individual and estate tax returns
• Perform reviews of tax returns to ensure accuracy
• Communicate with clients to address questions and obtain missing information
• Utilize practice management software for workflow and billing

• Prior tax preparation experience in a tax practice or retail setting
• Knowledge of tax laws, tax concepts and familiarity with the form 1040 and all schedules
• Strong computer skills with knowledge of MS Office (including Word, Excel, and Outlook) and tax software required
• Must be able to work independently and juggle many tasks in fastpaced, deadlinedriven environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are required for this position. Must be able to interact with clients, partners, and coworkers.
• Attention to detail and time efficiency is key
• Accounting degree preferred
• EA preferred
