Chief Financial Officer (Private Equity)

Salary – MIP

Privatal is currently seeking a permanent CFO for a private equity fund in Fort Madison. The CFO will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of one of the fund's portfolio companies in the IT and cybersecurity industry. The company is embarking on a buy-and-build strategy and plans to exit in 2027.

  • Proven experience as a CFO in the software, SaaS, IT services, or cybersecurity sector.
  • Proven track record in executing fast-paced buy-and-build strategies.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing short- and long-term strategies for the company.
  • Proven experience in managing investor relations and serving as the main point of contact for external stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in transitioning from a license-based model to a SaaS-based model.
  • Proven experience in implementing new systems such as ERP, CRM, and cost-saving initiatives, as well as establishing KPIs.
  • Proven experience in managing liquidity and cash flow.
  • Proven experience in overseeing finance, controlling, HR, tax, legal, IT, and accounting functions.
  • Fluency in both German and English is required.
