Description

All American Plastic and Packaging is looking to hire a responsible delivery driver for transporting goods and packages from one location to another.

We specialize in delivering foodservice disposable goods or for restaurants, hotels, and grocery store businesses that require delivery services. Delivery drivers must have a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and a strong sense of responsibility.

The duties of a delivery driver typically include the following:

• Loading goods onto their delivery vehicle, ensuring that items are properly secured for transportation.
• Mapping out delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.
• Transporting goods to their destination while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
• Collecting payments for goods delivered, as required.
• Maintaining accurate delivery logs and documentation.
• Communicating with customers regarding delivery times and any issues that arise during the delivery process.
• Ensuring that delivery vehicles are properly maintained and serviced.
• Following all safety protocols and guidelines when handling and transporting hazardous materials.
• Maintaining a positive and professional attitude when interacting with customers and coworkers.

In addition to the above duties, delivery drivers may also be responsible for loading and unloading goods at delivery locations and may need to lift heavy items.

They may also be required to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, to meet delivery demands.


Pay:
$ $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
