- Assist veterinarians in performing diagnostic procedures and treatments related to cardiology.
- Comfortable with monitoring anesthesia and assessing patients during procedures, including interventional cardiac catheterizations in our fluoroscopy operating room.
- Conduct diagnostic tests, including electrocardiograms (ECGs), radiographs, routine blood monitoring and echocardiograms.
- Place Holter monitors on patients and educate clients in their use.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by veterinarians.
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records and ensure proper documentation of procedures.
- Communicating and educate pet owners on cardiac conditions, treatment plans, and at-home care.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Ensure compliance with veterinary regulations and standards.

- Maintain a clean work environment to maintain any infectious disease protocols, handle medical/biomedical and infectious waste appropriately
- Maintain inventory and supplies for procedures and patient husbandry.
- Current and valid Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) license.
- Knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and common conditions (Preferred but not required).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards animals and their owners.
