Responsibilities:


  • Conduct field surveys using various surveying equipment to collect precise measurements and geographic data.
  • Assist in the setup and operation of total stations, GPS receivers, and other surveying instruments.
  • Record and document field observations, measurements, and data accurately and efficiently.
  • Perform calculations to determine property boundaries, elevation profiles, and other surveying parameters.
  • Collaborate with surveyors and other team members to ensure project objectives are met within specified deadlines.
  • Maintain and calibrate surveying equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working in the field and on job sites.
  • Keep abreast of advancements in surveying technology and techniques to enhance job performance.

Qualifications:

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent certification in surveying, geomatics, or a related field.
  • Previous experience working as a survey technician or in a similar role preferred.
  • Proficiency in operating total stations, GPS receivers, and other surveying instruments.
  • Strong mathematical skills and the ability to perform calculations with precision.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced environment.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate and reliable survey data.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various job sites as required.
