    Clinical Manager - Providence, United States - CharterCARE Health Partners

    Description
    Summary:
    • Maintains 24-hour accountability for ensuring the delivery of high-quality and cost-effective services within the nursing unit in compliance with regulatory and licensing standards.
    • Establishes standards for service delivery and evaluates performance against those standards.
    • Makes recommendations regarding purchase of necessary equipment.
    • Develops, implements, and assesses a comprehensive management plan covering financial, clinical quality, human resources, and professional practice aspects.
    Education:
    • RN licensure is a must.
    • BS in Nursing is preferred.
    Licensure:
    • Current Rhode Island RN licensure required.
    Experience:
    • Seven to ten years of directly relevant experience.
    Skills and Abilities:
    • Demonstrated proficiency with a minimum of three years of relevant managerial experience.
    • Ability to oversee overall unit operations and clinical activities.
    • Proven track record of providing excellent customer service.
    • Familiarity with national standards such as Dept. of Health, JCAHO, State Health Regulations, etc.
    • Strong communication, collaboration, and negotiation skills.
    • Effective management skills in planning, organizing, inventory control, and delegation.
    • Leadership skills for motivating individuals and building group cohesion.
    • Experience in coaching, teaching, mentoring, and problem-solving.
    • Knowledge of budget preparation and management.
    • Ability to conduct in-service education programs.
    • Interpersonal skills for diverse customer interactions.
    • Clinical expertise in the relevant area.
    • Organizational and priority-setting skills.
    • Collaborative work approach with peers and other professionals.
    • Capacity to educate patients and families effectively.
    • Proficiency in math calculations and PC usage.
    Working Conditions, Physical Environment, and Safety Requirements:
    • Tasks may involve occasional lifting and carrying of items like files and books.
    • Regular activities include sitting, walking, stooping, and reaching.
    • Physical fitness to meet staff-level position requirements in the department when necessary.
