Monday through Friday day shift occasional rotation of half day clinic Saturday mornings about once every 4 to 5 weeks.

Minimum Requirements:


Education:


  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Successful completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Program.
  • Alternatively, one year of Medical Assistant work experience can be substituted for the successful completion of an accredited medical assistant program.


In summary, the Medical Assistant's primary responsibilities include providing direct patient care, handling patient registration, scheduling appointments, and performing various office-related tasks.


Certifications:
BLS CPR by the American Heart Association upon hire.

Must obtain at least one (1) of the following Medical Assistant credentials within 6 months of hire date:
American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)

American Medical Technologists (AMT)

National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)

National Healthcareer Association (NHA)
