Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Guest Service Agent.
As a Guest Service Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service and ensuring their stay is comfortable and enjoyable.
This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality.Responsibilities:
- Greet guests with a warm and friendly demeanor upon arrival
- Assist guests with checkin and checkout procedures
- Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and dining options
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a professional manner
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or staff member
- Maintain accurate guest records and update reservation systems
- Coordinate with housekeeping to ensure rooms are clean and ready for guest arrivals
- Assist with night audit duties as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role preferred
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally
- Knowledge of hospitality industry practices and standards
- Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are a plus
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Familiarity with hotel reservation systems is an asset
