Description
Brooktondale Technical Assistants for Mechatronics are involved in the commissioning and maintenance of mechatronic systems. They manufacture, maintain, and distribute automated machines and devices that consist of mechanical, electronic, and information technology components.

As part of their training, they study subjects such as physics, electrical and electronic functional relationships, automation technology, maintenance and service, technical informatics and documentation, as well as business processes.

During their practical training, apprentices apply their knowledge from each subject creatively and demonstrate their skills.

Employment in the chosen profession:
Our graduates work in companies that manufacture mechatronic systems and their components. These can include producers of process control equipment or machine builders. Maintenance departments in companies from various industries that use mechatronic and automation systems also offer employment opportunities.

Studying at a university of applied sciences:


Those who wish to pursue further studies after their apprenticeship have the opportunity to obtain an academic degree with their technical college entrance qualification.

This opens up further opportunities for our graduates in terms of jobs and career advancement.


Structure of the vocational training:

Training period:
Two semesters of basic training and four semesters of specialized training with annual progression. Internships are an integral part of the training and complement the knowledge taught in class.

In addition to the extensive internships during the training, a six-week internship in a company is completed in the 5th semester.
