Description
Provides analytical support including research, data collection, quantitative and qualitative analysis, presentation and report formulation and production. Manages Planning Department data resources and databases for internal planning uses and for required external reporting. Develops information and data for environmental assessments and other major strategic planning and business development projects. Interprets data based on industry knowledge, and converts data into information for management decision-making.Collaborates with management and other clinicians and serves as a resource to achieving the organization's goals.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)Education**:Bachelor's degree required with a minimum of 4 years of work experience in a similar role.

Experience:
See "Education." Significant experience supporting the development of environmental, competitive and other strategic studies, including the analysis of assumptions and the interpretation of data results.
Experience in working with large clinical and/or administrative databases, including both management and analysis. Capable of searching and critically appraising medical literature.- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in SAS (Statistical Analysis Software) or STATA required, and some knowledge of SPSS (Statistical Package of Social Sciences) helpful, spreadsheet, relational database, graphics and word processing software is required. Skills with additional statistical software packages are desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills and high attention to detail with the demonstrated ability to produce highquality output that is complete, accurate and suitable for distribution to highlevel audiences.
- Ability to clearly, concisely, and accurately communicate complex data in both written and oral form. Written analyses to include summary of data and strategic recommendations.
- Capacity for high production output and management of multiple projects and shifting deadlines. The ability to prioritize multiple tasks and to meet deadlines is essential.
- Familiarity with key issues in healthcare, with the ability to relate their impact to the organization. Ability to work and interact with multiple departments.
