Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Banquet Cook/Roundsman to join our culinary team In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing and executing high-quality banquet meals, ensuring every dish meets our standards of excellence. Your expertise in food preparation, culinary techniques, and food safety will contribute to creating memorable dining experiences for our guests. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of banquet dishes, ensuring consistency, quality, and presentation standards are met.
- Assist with menu planning and ingredient selection for banquet events and daily meal service.
- Ensure all food handling and safety protocols are strictly followed to maintain a safe working environment.
- Support catering operations by preparing large quantities of food efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and timely service during busy periods.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including proper storage of ingredients and utensils.
- Monitor food inventory levels, assist with stock rotation, and communicate supply needs proactively.
Requirements
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food handling within restaurant or catering settings.
- Excellent knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques for diverse cuisines.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper kitchen hygiene
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Previous kitchen experience in the food industry or culinary setting is essential; restaurant experience is preferred.
