Front Desk Crew - SUPERSTAR NEEDED
(Medical Center Houston)

We are seeking a Full-Time Front Desk Associate, Check In, Check Out, and New Patient to join our team at our Houston Medical Center private practice.


Be a part of something bigger and join our team as a Medical Front Office Associate and help transform people's lives through
Remarkable Customer Service.

As a Front Office Associate, you will be the first point of contact for Patient and referring professionals - answering phones, cheerfully greeting and registering patients, scheduling patient treatments and checking them in / out, and collecting the copay.

You will work to help set up our amazing EMR.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


Creates a

Every Patient,

Registration

  • Greets and checks in patients scheduled for treatments; registers demographic information and processes payment plans and copays
  • Answers phones and handles calls in an efficient and friendly manner
Fields call appropriately for center team members.

  • Acts as liaison between staff and the patients waiting for treatments and other clinic information.
  • Maintains front office lobby area by straightening magazines, organizing coffee supplies, and assisting with general office tasks
Complete order forms for office supplies etc
Maintains supply of patient information sheets
Scanning imaging via electronic interfaces.

  • Completes confirmation calls and provides preparation instructions to the patient.

Scheduling & Insurance
Schedules patients and enters orders
Maintains an up-to-date and accurate database of all current and potential referring physicians
Accurately maintains patient records
Maintains an up-to-date and accurate pending-scheduling list

Handles release of information requests for patients, referring offices, other medical facilities, attorneys & insurance companies following the company guidelines.


Qualifications

  • Minimum of
    two years' experience in a doctor's office, hospital, or healthcare facility or
    four years as a front desk person in any business with
    People Skills
  • Good computer and word processing skills.
  • Cheerful and pleasant personality.
  • A detailoriented person capable of multitasking
Easy to get along with and a team player.

  • Medical background preferred but not required.
  • Punctual and reliable
