Motorcycle/ Powersports Technician - Houston, United States - G-Force Powersports

Description

• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with motorcycles, including engine, transmission, and electrical systems.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations.
• Perform safety inspections to ensure that motorcycles meet regulatory requirements.
• Communicate with customers to understand their needs and provide recommendations for repair or maintenance work.
• Keep accurate records of all work performed, including parts used and labor hours.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Assist with other tasks as needed, such as motorcycle detailing or parts ordering.
• Keep workplace area clean and organized.
• Move display inventory inside and outside of shop on a daily basis.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a formal motorcycle mechanic training program or equivalent experience is preferred but not required.
• A valid driver's license.
• Strong mechanical skills, with the ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of mechanical issues.
• Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
• Willingness to take on other tasks as assigned.

• Ability to lift and move heavy objects, such as motorcycles and equipment, weighing up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to stand, stoop, and bend for extended periods of time.
• Ability to work in a noisy and dusty environment.

• 8 hour shift

• Mechanic: 3 years (preferred)

• Driver's License (preferred)

• Houston, TX 77095: Relocate before starting work (required)
