Description
REQUIREMENTS:
- A minimum of one year of experience painting industrial products and/or automobiles.
- Thorough knowledge of mixing catalyzed paints and cleaning paint equipment operating with catalyzed paint.
- Legally authorized to work in the State of California
- Presently live within 20 miles of Garden Grove, California
Summary of Duties:
Core Skills:
- REQUIRED Experience in industrial equipment painting
- REQUIRED Experience with 2part catalyzed paints and coatings such as polyurethane
- REQUIRED Experience wet painting using an HVLP gravity feed spray gun
- Experience in various methods of cleaning and preparing materials
- Experience using grinders, sanders
- Experience using drill motors, drill presses
- Experience using hand tools and power tools
- Ability to operate an enclosed spray booth
- Ability to differentiate between colors
- Ability to work on multiple priorities with frequent interruptions
- Ability to drive a forklift
- Ability to drive a tow vehicle with an attached trailer
- Ability to use hand and power tools and equipment
- Ability to work with all levels of employees
- Strong communication skills
License:
- A valid California driver's license is required.
Physical Requirements:
Strength to perform average lifting up to 50 pounds and occasionally over 70 pounds; the agility, equilibrium and coordination as required when climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling and balancing under precarious conditions; arm, hand and finger dexterity with at least one hand involved in reaching, handling, fingering and feeling; good eyesight and color perception.
